Tour overview

Reach the highest point in El Salvador, Cerro El Pital. This peak marks the limits between El Salvador and Honduras, so you can be on both sides of the border at once.
The hike starts from El Rosario village crossing different farms up to Cayaguanca crag which is known by the locals as the meteorite. The trail goes up, through a lush cloud forest, to the hump that marks the highest elevation and the limit with Honduras.
